Community Connector
We are looking for somebody to help us bring together the public, private and voluntary sectors within Lincolnshire, to help build stronger, local support networks and services.
Job Purpose:
Community Connectors work as part of the Integrated Place Based Teams and lead on local community development initiatives with the aim to re-connect people with their communities, understanding not only what communities provide and need but how to make the best use of community assets.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Enabling People to live their best lives
· Supporting Social Action
· Working collaboratively
· Developing Community Empowerment and Community Networks
· Understanding Community Assets
· Lead on the promotion and development of the community partnership approach
· Addressing health inequalities
· Offer support to groups and activities, with the aim of building knowledge, skills, confidence, and resilience.
Trustee Vacancies
Our Trustees are volunteers at MindSpace who help to set the overall strategic direction of the charity and ensure it is meeting its purpose.
Becoming a charity Trustee helps you to make a meaningful impact outside of your regular work or daily routines. It is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and professional reputation. Trustee work can be a valuable addition to your CV and provide networking opportunities by working alongside other Board members, charity staff and stakeholders.
Key roles and responsibilities for all Trustee positions include:
- Ensure the Charity meets all legal and regulatory requirements
- Safeguard the Charity’s assets
- Agree plans and targets and hold the Charity to account
- Help appoint key staff members
- Engage actively in Board meetings and in the work of the Charity
- Promote the Charity and its mission in all ways possible
- Promote and protect the Charity’s values
- Always treat fellow Trustees, the Charity team, our beneficiaries and partners, and stakeholders, with respect and abide at all times with the Charity’s mission

MindSpace volunteers are fundamental to the successful daily running of our activities and services, which support and empower people to take better care of their mental wellbeing.
We offer various volunteer roles, many of which involve supporting participants by listening to them, offering a kind and non-judgemental ear. Activities include tea and chat sessions, weekly walks, and helping out at the garden. There is sure to be a group, activity or role that would appeal to you.
We offer training to all our volunteers and events throughout the year.
