Our calendar of activities is designed to help you introduce the 5 ways to wellbeing into your daily life. All activities are open to anyone in the local area and are completely FREE of charge. If you can afford to, please consider making a donation for attending our events.
Many of our activities are now moving back indoors or face to face. To help us manage numbers and account for ‘track and trace’ we are now using an online booking system for all our activities. We know that it can be difficult to make that first step – anyone is welcome to attend so please feel free to come with a friend or relative. Just make sure you book 2 places so that we can keep a check on numbers.
Can we do more?
Our ever-growing range of activities currently includes drop-in cafés / tea and chat sessions, yoga, mindfulness, art therapy, movement for wellbeing, a men’s group, shared reading, nutrition, MindSpace Socials for young adults, boxing, group walks and sketching classes. We are a community-led charity and your views are important to us. The Recovery College is part of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust that runs free mental health courses in Stamford.
The Recovery College uses an educational based approach to help people recognise and develop their personal resourcefulness and awareness in order to become experts in their self-care, make informed choices and do the things they want to in life.
All our courses are co-designed and co-delivered by experts with lived experience of mental ill health, peer trainers and expert health professionals.
