The Houndogs headline fundraiser for MindSpace
One of the UK’s best rockabilly and rock n roll bands is coming to Stamford to perform a fundraising gig for MindSpace.
The Houndogs are known for their high energy, high octane, and exhilarating live performances. Audiences will be in for a treat when they take to the stage at The Stamford Corn Exchange in April.
Another local band, Listen Like Thieves, will be joining them on stage. They are dubbed ‘one of middle England’s finest kick-ass covers bands’, who promise an energetic set, performing pop and rock favourites and iconic anthems.

Music for mental health
The evening is set to be a feel-good, fun night out. It will be a chance to sing along and enjoy live music. All profits will go to MindSpace. This will help them continue their work providing opportunities for listening and connection, supporting the mental wellbeing of our community.
David Wilson from The Houndogs says: “We’re always keen to get behind local charities, especially those that directly support people in our own community. Mental health is something we strongly believe is still overlooked and underfunded, despite how many people it affects day to day. If we can help raise awareness, funds, or simply give people a positive night out that lifts spirits, then that’s something we’re proud to be part of.”
He adds: “The Houndogs are known for delivering a high-energy, no-holds-barred live show. We don’t just play the music — we live it on stage. Expect a full-throttle performance featuring instruments being stood on, cymbals set on fire, and a crowd-driven atmosphere that turns the night into a proper event rather than just another gig. Our aim is always to give people something unforgettable and send them home buzzing.”
Ccreative practitioner, Katharine Lyons-Burke has organised the event. She is passionate about promoting positive wellbeing and mental health.
“I feel that community is of the utmost importance and receiving help with practical support can really make a difference. I like nothing more than helping give back to the community in which I live and enable more people to access important groups and support in a safe, relaxed space.”
