Hegarty names MindSpace as new charity partner
Local solicitor firm, Hegarty (www.hegarty.co.uk), is celebrating five decades of being a trusted legal companion to people across Lincolnshire, Rutland and Peterborough.
As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Hegarty is increasing its usual single annual charity partner from one to four this year, and we are delighted that MindSpace has been chosen as one of its four local beneficiary charities.
As well as MindSpace, other chosen charities are Sports Connections Foundation in Peterborough, Dementia Support in Market Deeping and Pepper’s A Safe Place in Oakham, representing a charity in each location where the firm has a legal office.
Kally Singh, senior partner at the firm, said, “As we celebrate our 50 years, we are mindful of the trust our community has placed in us over the past five decades. We’re delighted to be supporting Mindspace this year and all its fantastic work.”
What’s more, as well as a fresh re-brand to celebrate its 50th year, Hegarty is embarking on an inspiring journey of community kindness with 50 initiatives planned over the next 12 months. The range of activities, from tree planting to bake sales, and even a slightly more strenuous 3 Peaks Challenge adventure, aims to help local residents, causes, communities and charities in a variety of ways.
Pip Tiffin, People & Operations Lead at MindSpace said, “It is fantastic news to be named as one of Hegarty’s four local partner charities this year. We are always delighted when local businesses choose to support our important work, and we very much look forward to working with the firm to raise useful funds over the coming months.”
