Charity Christmas card competition launches
Are you a keen artist? Do you fancy seeing a piece of your art turned into real card? MindSpace Stamford are inviting you to submit a design a card for their first ever charity Christmas card.
MindSpace is looking for at least two designs to sell to help raise funds for their work supporting mental wellbeing in the community through providing opportunities for listening and connection.
The competition is an exciting opportunity for people to create a festive design that they could see turned into a card and sold on the shelves of local shops and businesses.
There will be two age categories – one for children under 18, and for adults 18 and over.
The team here at MindSpace will look through all the entries and judge at least two final winners who will have their designs turned into the cards.
What are we looking for?
From pen and ink sketches to bold paintings or a felt tip colouring, the charity is looking for a card for the community, designed by the community.
“We are very excited to see the designs that people will come up with. There is no set theme. It could be something, from a lovely festive scene of Stamford, to a bright, bold reindeer. It is a chance to explore your creative side and come up with something colourful that will help spread Christmas cheer,” says Pip Tiffin, People and Operations Lead at MindSpace.
She says, “The money raised from selling the cards will help us generate much-needed funds at a time of year when a lot of people can experience stress, loneliness, and personal struggles, and our services are in high demand.”
