MindSpace benefit from record amount raised at Santa Fun Run
MindSpace Stamford were delighted to be presented with a cheque for £8750 as a result of the 2025 Stamford Santa Fun Run.
In total, the event, organised by Stamford Striders Running group, raised a record amount of £35,000 for its three charities. The cheques were presented at as special event at Alltech, Stamford, where MindSpace were grateful to receive the donation, and acknowledge the efforts made by the team.

The 2025 Santa Fun Run also saw a record number of runners with 1700 people signed up to take part in December. Despite the rain, it was a wonderful event with a sea of Santas running through Burghley Park and Stamford’s Colin Furze setting them off with a fiery start.

Putting the fun into fundraising
MindSpace also loved seeing everyone who came up to our stand to chat with us and stock up on some delicious cakes for some pre and post-run fuel. We also had our cameras out! It was great seeing everyone get their Instax instant photos as a memento of the day.

MindSpace’s own Jo Dunlop also ran as part of Team MindSpace – congratulations Jo!
Pip Tiffin from MindSpace says: “The Santa Fun Run was an incredible event and so well organised. It was wonderful to see so many people turn out ready to run for a good cause. MindSpace is honoured and grateful to be one of the beneficiaries.

The money raised for our charity will help us continue our work promoting positive mental wellbeing in Stamford, helping us build a happier, healthier and safer community. Funds will allow us to keep our Wellbeing Hub up and running in town. It will help to train our volunteers to be there, to listen, and support the hundreds of people who come through our door each month. We really appreciate all the time and effort put in and everyone who showed up, even in the rain!”
