Night Light Co-ordinator (Thursday nights)
We are looking for a Night Light Coordinator to join our team to support our ‘out of hours’ café in Stamford on Thursdays. Working with the ACTS Trust (https://www.actstrust.org.uk/), the Night Light Café is open to anyone needing a safe and supportive space to be listened to and to get a wellbeing boost by connecting with others (and a piece of cake of course!). Our coordinators are also there to support volunteers and to signpost to other services as needed.
You will be one of two coordinators, working closely with Tracey who supports our Monday night and overarching project delivery.
Could you be our Night Light Coordinator and lead our Thursday night sessions?
In this role you will:
- Support a team of volunteers to gain additional training and skills to support those who attend the sessions.
- Support people in your community who need extra support and reassurance to maintain positive mental health and wellbeing.
- Be part of the MindSpace team, providing insight and feedback to help shape what we do by attending monthly team meetings
What you need to know:
Hours: 5 hours per week: (17:15 – 21:45 opening hours plus monthly 2 hour team meeting)
Location: 39 Broad Street, Stamford, PE9 2JF
Salary: £12.88 per hour
