Renumeration: £20,330.00 (plus paid holiday and sick pay)
Hours: Work Pattern: 37 hours per week (including 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Monday – Friday: 9:30 – 17:30
Reports to: Pip Tiffin, People and Operations Lead
Outline:
MindSpace Stamford is a community wellbeing hub where everyone is welcome to come and take part in activities and training that promote positive wellbeing and that align with the 5 ways to wellbeing. The Host Administrator will play the lead role in ensuring the oversight and smooth running of MindSpace day to day, including overseeing our premises at 39 Broad Street. An important aspect of the role is to support and develop relationships with our beneficiaries and volunteers.
The post-holder will be the designated point of contact for enquiries, primary key holder for our premises and will undertake day to day administration on behalf of the charity including finance, bookings, collecting feedback, managing our schedule of activities and supporting the wider MindSpace team, including minuting board meetings.
People attend MindSpace to maintain their positive wellbeing and also when they are facing challenging times and so confidence to listen and support people sensitively is an essential requirement for this role and full training, including accredited mental health first aid training, will be provided.
Working closely with the Trustees, and local statutory, voluntary and commercial sector organisations, the Host Administrator will work to ensure our premises is an accessible, well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of the local community, MindSpace Stamford beneficiaries and partner organisations.
The post-holder will be given a high degree of autonomy and will be self-motivated. It is essential that the post-holder is a passionate advocate of positive mental health and wellbeing as well as the importance of community and can ally themselves to the values and ethos of the charity.
Our People and Operations Lead will support and mentor the new position holder to aid her/him/them in achieving their full potential within the role.
